Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
Ok, now we're getting somewhere!
Think of this like going to the doctor - you wouldn't just say "it hurts"...you'd say where it hurts, how much, what you were doing when it happened, etc. :)
I just listened to track 7 all the way through and don't hear any dropouts. Do they always happen in the same place? Do they happen when you listen on your computer or just on your car stereo? Do you have another computer you can listen on just to see if it happens everywhere?

Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
They always happen in the same place. I haven't listened on my computer because I am at work in a cubicle and don't want to disturb others with noise. I'm going to try to play it low and see if I hear any dropouts right now. I'll let you know in a minute what happens.

I listened to track 7 and track 12. I heard dropouts.

Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
Just listened to track 12 as well...unfortunately I don't hear a single dropout. I listened to the in-page player (which streams the VBR mp3's), downloaded the zip file and listened to it there, and downloaded the individual mp3 files. Nothing, nothing, and nothing. I'm not sure what else I can do to help. :(

Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
So it is probably the buffering causing problems. Isn't there a way to fix that on my computer?

Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
Possibly, but without sitting at your computer it's practically impossible to figure out.

Re: short gaps when playing back downloaded show |
Thanks for all your help. At least I have the problem narrowed down.
